A Nice Day for a Walk

What a beautiful day - love the sunshine!
We went to Ashridge estate early in the afternoon for a wander through the forest - massive area and it was so pretty and fragrant with the bluebells which covered almost all of the forest floor.

After a while of wandering we headed to Hitchin to visit some lavender fields I had heard about - we were a little early in the season so that is somewhere we will need to arrange to go to again.

Looking forward to tomorrow as we have a nice wee afternoon tea booked at Searcy's near St Pauls :)
