Blossom

We went to try out kwchas's walk for his walking group this morning.... and what a beautiful day for a walk it was!  We saw loads of birds and rabbits and a group of hardy individuals running the Sandstone Trail (all 32 miles of it!).

I thought my extra may have been a Rock Sparrow but kwchas disagrees and thinks it is just a female House Sparrow ..... I'm still not convinced, even though our bird book says that it lives in Southern Europe and never gets as far north as the UK...... it could have been blown off course ..... couldn't it?
