It's "bee"n a great day

Dashed up to Thirsk for niece's 30th birthday party. These knitted characters were on bollards outside the hotel - bees, policemen, owls, flowers etc.  Even the hotel sign and bunting were knitted - all for the Tour de Yorkshire which had passed through last week.  On the way back to the hotel in the early hours, we noticed some other items supporting the event (see extras), and then retired to our "princess" bed.  Sure the old coaching inn we stayed in was haunted - lovely place but spooky!
