A Robin for Remembrance .....

..... I know it should be Rosemary for Remembrance but today I said farewell to a very close Christian friend.  Mairi loved robins and I always tried to find a Christmas or birthday gift with a robin theme.  There is always something featuring that cute wee bird .... I've lost count of the number of jigsaws I managed to find.

The extra shot is the lovely arrangement of flowers I was given by Mairi's two daughters.

I confess that the blip of the robin was not taken today .... I didn't have time to stand at my kitchen window and hope for a visit from my wee robin.  This one I have had for some weeks knowing that my friend's health was deteriorating.
