The Morpeth Arms

London pubs! Where better to while away a few hours, pie and a pint perhaps, friendly chit-chat with local characters, particularly so on a sunny afternoon in London.

Samuel Johnson got it right when he said to James Boswell in 1777:

Why, Sir, you find no man, at all intellectual, who is willing to leave London. No, Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."

The same can be said today of London, I never tire of visiting my capital city and enjoying all it has to offer, it helps that I live so close.
