Sketch 63 - teaching a medium aged dog new tricks
I mentioned a project I was working on a couple blips ago, and have been able to dedicate some time to it recently. My usual medium of oil doesn't lend itself to the project (a children's book), so I have had to look at other options.
I have previously been, well, completely anti water colour. But I've think with a bit of hard work and open mindedness, I could make them work for this project. Needless to say, for the foreseeable blip future I will be sketching in water colour only.
Today's lesson - if you go wrong in the sketch stages... it's very hard to put it right (oh how I miss just slapping on that oil paint to hide all my mistakes!!) :)
