No granddaughters...

...so when I spotted this beautifully hand smocked and crafted wee dress , made by an ailing 85 year old in the South Island, I bought what will probably be her last one and brought it home to my sewing room. I shall hang it on an embroidered coat hanger and display it on my sewing cave wall.
I know...sheer indulgence!
