Olympic madness
The kids are very excited about a forthcoming sporting event. Personally, I blame the school - they certainly have had no encouragement on sporty matters from their parents. It was a lovely day in the shire - a record 20 degrees and none of that wet stuff either! To celebrate the fine day we took ourselves to the front garden for some heavy duty digging and flower arranging. Still bits and pieces to be done but the difference we've made is quite cool and we're pretty chuffed with ourselves. The kids busied themselves with an olympic assault course on the lawn: high jump, football and a cycling course. It was pretty cool! And now it's time for tea - spaghetti carbananas for the kids and steak sandwiches for Philip and I. I'll try and remember to blip the garden once it's done - just wish I'd taken a before shot so that the amount of middeny mess we've shifted could be fully appreciated by all!
