Vibrant Tulips

Finishing my day at Waddesdon today, the weather was still beautiful so I took a few minutes to photograph the tulips. They are past their prime but still stunning, especially set with the backdrop of the Mansion.  Soon they will be replaced by the specially designed display of summer plants. If you like gardens and flowers (or even if, like me, you barely know one flower from another) this summer is the time to visit Waddesdon - it will be spectacular.
