Competition

It's always a little like the Hunger Games when the train to DC is called, but especially so when they announce the platform just 6 minutes before the train is due to leave. I saw the track number as I was taking this shot, so I had to stuff my camera into my bag and sprint to track 8E. Can 300-400 people really squeeze down a single escalator and onto a train in 6 minutes? Apparently so.

I spent hours at the Planetarium of the Natural History Museum, which was lots of fun. Before I left, I ran in to see the dioramas, a selection of which I present for your viewing pleasure in the extra photos. You'd almost think the people who shot and stuffed them really loved animals.
