A Hazy, Smokey Day

The Fort McMurray Fire is several hundred kilometres north west of Saskatoon. Smoke from the fire arrived yesterday afternoon and has hung around in varying density since. At the moment the sky is pale blue, not tan, as it was yesterday. The destruction there is devastating. It will be a long time before power, water and sewer services are restored. First, the fire has to be contained and then the reconstruction can begin.
