Slow slow quick quick slow

Hours on the train to London, then when we got to the hotel we sat around planning for another hour or so, then very quick royal audience -ceremony, photos, brief conversation- before we were ushered out. All that prep for such a short time! Didn't even get a chance to try one of the exquisite cakes that were tantalisingly on display at the side of the room!
Bit of a debrief then a glass of wine behind Kings Cross before another 5 hours on the train home.

The extra was a sign by the entrance of the hotel.....
