Wicker, Fire and Fireworks

The Wickerman Festival near Dumfries, Scotland was brought to the traditional finale with burning of the lovingly hand crafted wickerman. On a fine night with just a hint of moisture in the air the Wickerman was set alight to a backdrop of an exploding sky filled with fireworks. But not to worry he will be back next year to watch over the many festival goers.
