Wingspan

Walked round Forfar loch with very little to show for it. After yesterday's promising start (and a bit of early morning sun today) it was all grey and overcast again. A couple of distance shots were passably heronish - but only just. Had just about called it quits when a wee lad came down to the side of the loch and started feeding the ducks. Didn't take too long before these guys started in too. So top marks to the little photographer's assistant today.

PS remembering that we are only a month away from the summer solstice, it was rather disappointing to see cars with their lights on 3pm... and the man still managed to get sunburn!
