Flower Friday - Viola Calaminaria

This is Viola Calaminaria, "zinkviooltje" in Dutch and I think it's called "Mountain Pansy" in English.
It's very rare, it grows on soil contaminated with heavy metals such as zinc.
Yesterday we went to Moresnet in Belgium where in the old days a zinc mine was situated.
I was so happy to see this blooming pansy, isn't it beautiful?
