NHS there when you need it and free

Today I was patient side, well not me Grandma. We were at George Elliot hospital and so impressed, caring, happy, lovely staff from front door right to everyone we met. One stop service with the most lovely consultant who made a 92 year old at ease when giving her diagnosis.

People moan about the NHS a lot but when you see the volume of work that goes into just one person it's huge and at no cost to us at all.
We need to cherish, nurture, not abuse and thank it as when it's gone you think about how much that would have cost a 92 year old in many other countries.

Anyway wasn't meant to be a rant just a thankful post to the NHS
