What a waste

I don't think I've ever felt so concerned and disillusioned about democracy in this country. But I voted anyway. Because it's a democratic duty.

At the end of the day we can blame the politicians, the media, and each other. But our politics tells a story about our society. Our politicians may be hateful, childish combative, unethical and greedy. But they are probably just mirroring the excesses of our society. 

I'm a very positive person with a great life. But tonight I don't feel good about the future ...
