Pitmuies Gardens

A morning with dental check ups for both of us and then I was off to Forfar to meet up with friend L. for lunch and a walk.  The Head Gardener was happy to be left to get on with things in his domain:-)

The walk was actually a very gentle stroll round Pitmuies Gardens, about half way between Forfar and Arbroath.  Long time blip friends will have seen this before a few times, but there's always something new to discover and admire, whatever the season.

The afternoon was perfect for our stroll, with warm sunshine out of a blue sky and a gentle breeze.  You could almost believe it was summer as we sat on a well-placed bench and put the world to rights.  What a lovely day:-)
