Living Land
A wonderful, if tiring day. 3000 children in ages 7/8 at Living Land between 9:30 and 2pm. I managed between groups to get a couple of photos I was happy with and it was really nice to see some old friends. Once again I watched Leigh doing his falconry display. Leigh and his team were resident at LC for a number of years and he often helped education. It was lovely to see how the children are still fascinated by his unchanged performance.
Dinner this eveing at The Pilot; renowned fish and chips restaurant at Dungeness that we will not be visiting during the season as it gets so busy and noisy with holiday makers. I have become old!
The photo is Merlin, the White Faced Scops Owl, who participates in our Sybil the Cygnet workshop. He is positioned on the glove in front of a pop up banner that makes it seem as if he is actually at the castle.
