Put A Sock In It!

God help us, my son has starting wearing white socks to school.
I haven't seen white socks being worn as a fashion statement since the 1980's and then only by teenage boys named Kevin or Barry (or Michael Jackson fans). But, apparently this is what 'everyone is wearing'.

Judging by the state of them, they're not likely to stay white for long. 
Best invest in a tub of Vanish.
