The Country Fayre

This was new to me!! A fayre on the ship to fundraise for charities was held this afternoon. Donations were requested from the passengers and volunteers to man the stalls. G & I got roped in to look after the “guess the weight of the cake” stand. I was a bit sceptical to start with, but it was great fun and well attended.

I was amazed at the quantity of clothes, books and “bits & pieces” that were donated. One way of solving the packing and excess baggage charges for those flying home.

There were lots of fun stalls and happy faces!!!
