Waterfall walk

Since the Precious and Gustavo are staying with us for a couple of days we decided to take to the tourist trail along the Antrim Coast road. The visibility was quite good and we could see across to the Mull of Kintyre, with occasional glimpses of Arran and Ailsa Craig on the horizon. It was a lovely day and a really scenic drive through some of the Glens of Antrim, before heading slightly inland to Glenariff Forest Park.

Keeping with the watery theme we headed off on the waterfall walk. This is my favourite one in Glenariff as I love the wooden walkway alongside the river (see it in the extra photo).

I have tried a slow shutter speed for this blip, 1/13, and it did come out quite well. I'd like to try this for waves along the shore at some stage, but will probably need to bring my tripod along for that.

Home again now and plans are afoot to try one of the 'Lean in 15' recipes from the Joe Wicks book. I've tried a couple already and they have all been really tasty - and fast to cook! That's my excuse to the Ards Man for not getting a chance to tidy up as I go along.....
