In the end I used the shot from the bottom of the spiral staircase in The Lighthouse, looking up.

If I'd known that, I might not have risked a heart attack climbing the 130+ steps to the top for a view of the Glasgow city rooftops...

Still, I lived to tell the tale and to have another birthday lunch, this time on pal Christina. The diet starts tomorrow!
