Pretty Hedge Flowers

This morning I had a sort-out of some old clothes that are still good but no longer fit me and are unlikely ever to again, and I took them to the charity shop. 

Whilst out I noticed these flowers growing on a hedge at the end of Monks Road. They are a lovely rich shade of red, and the hedge branches have big spikes on. I've no idea what it is but I do like it! It always has colour on it - there are some pretty pink berries in winter!

I was meant to be going out for lunch today, but the friend I was going with is not well, so I fetched Subway for Jae and myself instead.
