Heron

As I was sitting on the garden bench for my usual 20 minute wake up with Ruby this morning, I espied this heron on my neighbour's roof eyeing up the pond in my other neighbour's garden. He sat there for a good 20 minutes. I texted my neighbour to get him to put us anti heron metal grid over his pond.

Before I got Ruby I'd never have spotted that as I had no reason to sit outside in the mornings....
