Gritty

I took a walk on the moor first thing, before taking another short day in the office. I'm not finding it easy to pick up the threads at work so the less said about the gritty afternoon the better, but the walk was beautiful. I definitely feel like my vision is improving. 

I've blipped this gritty tree before. It emerges right out of a crack in the gritstone. It looks like it's being held in a vice! I've walked past this spot a few times recently, always taking a picture or two, but the light and the sky was perfect this morning. The bright sun enabled some interesting shots in Shipley too, but this is the bit of the day I want to remember.
