Azalea

I saw this lovely mauve azalea when I was out for a walk this morning. I delivered a birthday card to a friend from church and walked past this on my way there. It was another lovely day and hubby had an extra day off and did a lot of gardening. He cut the bottle brush plant right back and some sparrows got very excited and were in and out of it as soon as he came indoors. A whole family of them were born in there a few years ago (before we removed a lot of ivy that had grown through it) and we are convinced they still revisit their place of birth!
