Hers & Mine

Teaching my sister how to play because I am "queen of play", probably to a fault ;). My sister is doing very well recovering from her open heart surgery. She has been having more good days than bad days. I am so proud of her. I have been spending a lot of time with her and I'm am loving each and every moment of it. We are making many memories, and take nothing for granted anymore. Some days we will just sit and talk and look out the window the whole day waiting for the sun to set or listen to the rain and thunder. Lately we have been waiting for the sun to come back. We are missing it terribly. We are together enjoying the simple things in life. Today we colored. We will be doing a lot of play over the next three months as she is recovering. She works too hard and needs to learn to balance play with work, so she is in training at the moment :). You know the old saying too much work and not enough play.... :). I love my sister so much.

Tomorrow...playing monopoly or scrabble or maybe both and wishing really hard that the sun will return.
