All over London these little chappies are springing up. All part of the fun of the Olympics.

I hope it will be fun. There's so much cynicism and doom and gloom around.

However, there is an excitement building up in London.

Maybe these odd but cheeky faces will brighten your day as you walk miles to find where your bus stop has moved to.

Last night's "Otello" at Covent Garden was wonderful. At the third attempt (because she always cries off) I managed to enjoy the beautiful voice of the German soprano Anja Harteros. She was well worth the wait.
