Two Happy Poodles Warming Up
We had a quiet day today, with a walkie through the oak meadows and snoozing on the balcony. Mum calls it resting to be in top shape for agility. I don't need to rest, but apparently she does, so that's that. I love it when the meatballs are being cut into small pieces and put in a plastic bag in the afternoon, because that means we are actually going, and that they will eventually be coming my way!
Mum had devised a new strategy which was us arriving early and going for a long forest walkie right before the lesson. I don't think it worked very well, because a. we arrived five minutes late to the lesson and b. I was super energetic and bouncy anyway.
It was a great but difficult lesson. The first course was a repetition of things we had already learned, with back switches and front switches. It went well and we ran the whole course in one go. The second one introduced a new thing. Blind switches, if you can believe that. For that to work, mum needs to run faster than me, so it was near impossible as you can imagine. We had fun though, and were exhausted afterwards.
