The Future

My next door neighbour got married today. I was invited to the evening reception but wanted to see her in all her glory as she went into the chapel. Of all the pictures I took I love this shot the best as it could be any bride of the hundreds who would have married in Scotland in this busiest wedding weekend of the year. Any bride as she stands waiting with her father, her past, looking down the aisle to her future , her husband. My own hubby will probably laugh scornfully at this soppyness but when it comes to weddings I'm as emotional as the next woman.
