Day of bliss

We stayed with friends out of town last night so C and our hostess can go to Brighton to meet a friend today.

Leaving R and me to stay here and watch both the Grand Prix and the Tour de France finale without interruption.

The friend in Brighton has just phoned to say her child is sick and not to visit.
R and I are hoping the message does not get through..
