Sploosh!
Yesterday I complained about my dud day. The wind howled and blew, and the air was cold. The only sensible place to be was curled up asleep on a nice warm bed, as Miss Tibbs demonstrated in my blip.
Today was a whole different story however. The wind from yesterday continued, whipping the ocean into a frenzy of foaming, crashing waves. A blippers paradise!
Rugged up against the cold, we took a drive to Snapper Rocks, and after a sudden shower of rain had us retreating to our car, we headed up to Point Danger for cappucino.
The Bush Turkeys were out and about in their multitudes today also, and I have added two decent photos of one turkey who seemed quite happy to stand still, just long enough for a quick photo or two, to my blipfolio.
Out of the one-hundred-and-something photos I took today, I have chosen nine favourites ~ one to blip, and the rest added to my blipfolio. There seems to be a limit of 15 photos per catogory for blipfolio, so the first four are here, and the second four are here.
The deciding factor for my main blip today was the three dimensional effect of the waves, on the right hand side of the photo, as the waves swooshed and thundered over the rocks.
What a pity you couldn't have all been there to hear the roar and crash of the waves with me!
