forgotten steps

Day 1 of the PG conference. Mostly hung out in the Earth Science sessions although I did go to one of the human geography sessions. I certainly feel more at home with geophysics. Tomorrow I will attend the global change sessions which I find most tricky. They try to tackle the really complex problems. I prefer complicated. The quality of the talks was very good again. Really impressive.

I took some time to pick up #1. Wandered from Pollock Halls down Broughton Street via St Leonards Crags,  the parliament, the New Calton Cemetery and the St James Centre (while it lasts). Rediscovered some forgotten bits.

I really wish I had had my big camera today.
