Late blossom

It was a choice of this, or a massive blister on my toe, for today's photo. I'll spare you the feet photos. (Blister was from hiking all over Islington yesterday.)

Had such fun doing calligraphy yesterday, it was hard not to keep stopping work to do just a bit more practise.

Also - having paid £7 for a single peony in a florist at the weekend, I found 5 for £8 today in Little Waitrose. Classy petrol station flowers. Not yet found any British grown peonies in the shops, still all coming from Holland.
