Patiently waiting

We were waiting for a bus home and I watched this gull being hopeful that the girl sitting chatting would give it a bit of her sandwich. I thought she might as she occasionally spoke to it but as she finished she gathered the crusts that she didn't eat and said to the gull. "not for you" and walked to the nearest bin. There are notices asking people to not feed the gulls at the bus station, but I did feel a bit sorry for this one after sitting patiently waiting.
