Saxons and Vikings at Corfe Castle

Several times a year the castle welcomes reenactments of the unhappy relationship between Saxons and Vikings of a thousand and more years ago.  There is a Saxon camp visible higher up the hill, and the Viking camp is (invisible) to the left; I suspect that these children are of Viking stock.

As an erstwhile inhabitant of the realm of the South Saxons, I have to be careful when challenged about my allegiance.
