My Mono Monday Macro Marcasite - MM119

This delicate piece of silver and marcasite belonged to my late Mother.

Two horses driven by a trumpeting "winged" cherub and a very ornate carriage that hides a little watch, (although, I don’t think the watch has worked for many years).   My father was a bit of a romantic, so I can imagine he bought this as a gift for my Mother,  and I feel fortunate that I can still enjoy wearing it as a brooch.
