Tiny Tuesday - Salvia

You see that funny looking wet stuff on my salvia?  That's called rain!

So happy, I think the season has broken at last.  This is another of the new salvias - Salvia "superior purple".  Whether it truly is superior or not we shall have to see.  The fact that it's flowering at all makes it a bit superior in my eyes.

Anyway, I wanted to get right down to it with the macro lens, but just a tad too wet to go crawling around, so used the long lens instead.  It did a pretty good job I reckon.

Not even 1/4 to five and it's getting dark already.
