Three in a Row

We're going for a new record of sequential blip meets, culminating tonight in joining my dear friend Endless Weekend and her husband D for dinner at the Chrysalis Inn in Fairhaven.

Endless Weekend and I have been friends for more than 30 years, through thick and thin, and it is splendid to be at this point in our lives, both of us retired and very happily married. We four roamed over many topics this evening, and the time flew by all too quickly.

She and D are off soon on a wonderful trip to England, Scotland, and a bit of north Wales, and will visit some of my favorite places there --Glastonbury, York, Hadrian's Wall, and Edinburgh -- as well as go to several I'd love to see, Iona and Bath among them.
