Destination

The Leith Beer Company for a late evening beer with L and G, and their two sons who are or were students in Edinburgh.

In fact, it was a two pub evening, because the Leith Beer Company closed at 10pm so we decamped next door to the Malt and Hops before it too closed at 11pm. Not exactly Mediterranean or Aegean hours.

Earlier I worked at home, with - alternately - the rain/hail hammering on the window and the sun shining brightly. If only the weather could make up its mind. But I made good progress in getting a research proposal written, so that was definitely a plus point.
