May Day in Turriff

Taken before the high street got busy with the May Day celebrations and because the sun was out so the light was good. Can you see the famous Turra Coo statue in the background? I was over for a wee while allegedly staffing the Lib Dem stall but there were plenty of volunteers so I spent most of the time blethering with other stall holders, including some from the other political parties present, and passersby. A nice Tory lady even tried to get me to jump ship and join her party! Nae chance, I said, my grandpa would turn in his grave.
