Let's go out for the day on Bank Holiday Monday - said my husband. Great idea - said everyone.

Woke up this morning and he decides that he needs to clean the car and do other stuff. So the family day out was cancelled and I got on with washing, cleaning, vacuuming and other not so exciting stuff. I'm now trying to finish my book before book club on Thursday; I'm only a third of the way through it.
