Mono Monday : Wings

I've always liked the spiral symbol, so when I saw this little stone figure in the window of the Oxfam shop, I took a closer look.
The base is felted underneath, so obviously it's for indoor display. I'm going to try it though alongside the cherub which guards our little backgarden cemetery, where rest two dearly-loved Yorkshire terriers and three equally dear hamsters.
I tried doing the same with a rather nice little plaster dish adorned with sparrow figures, also from a charity shop. I though it would make a bath for small birds, or maybe even a drinking feature for bumblebees.
That was definitely for indoor use. The first time it rained it melted.
