Not flying... with wings...

Ilkley carnival today... and the heavens opened just at the start of it!!! Oh the poor wee soggy things... but what fabulous costumes and the little folk seemed to just love taking part in the occasion anyway! 
How handy to have a large pigeon over your head during the downpour though I thought!
Mambo's three granddaughters were in the procession... and I saw all 3 of their themes... and spotted eldest... who looked like she was having a ball... in her hat... so beautiful blipped by mambo.
Now I do like music of most genres... and I confess to having a 'best of boy bands' album.... and with Mono Monday's theme being 'wings' I've been humming 'flying without wings' all day... and in contrast to that.. here is a bird.... not flying... with wings....
