World's end

I made the wrong choice for a walk today.  The forecast was for rain so, instead of travelling off the fen, we decided to walk closer to home and went out on the Wash.  I saw a few ducks and geese but the circuit proved too long and we were forced to return by the way we had come and battle against a stiff, relentless wind that had got up.  Feeling a bit cheated of a good walk, we decided to reward ourselves by a taking a roundabout route on the way back taking us to the natural springs at Billingborough for fish and chips by the duckpond.
