Therapeutic gardening.
Whilst dealing with the news of Mr D's latest medical set back, I decided to plant some cuttings given to me by a lovely parishioner.
There turned out to be 70 of them! Each one was carefully dipped in powder that in Scotland was called rooting powder, but here, to avoid some smutty sniggers, is referred to as cutting propagation powder.
If even 30 of them grow, they will create a mat of dark green shiny leaves, with white undersides, and bright yellow flowers.
