999 - Emergency Blip

Apparently tomorrow is a Blip anniversary so today is 999.

I'm celebrating with an Ivor Dewdney pasty, a compulsory purchase in Plymouth. I did note that they sell salad bowls in the shop these days - how bizarre...

We were going to watch the Transatlantic yachts setting off but there is thick fog and drizzle - traditional Plymouth weather - so we are at home eating scones and clotted cream instead. Homeward bound this evening.
