The bridge

We were gigging this weekend at a lovely wedding which gave me a chance to get out my relatively new viola. It has a handmade bridge - initialed by Charlie Armour ( CMA) who made it for me. The viola is in the shape of a lira and has an especially fantastic tone in the high registers. I just love it!
Charlie is a seasoned and extremely talented instrument maker, was a great childhood friend of my dads and also is a great Scots fiddler.
