Puffins got Talent

This guy put on quite a song and dance but the judges didn't look too impressed.

It has been a day of two halves, this morning we headed out for Staples Island in rain. The rain didn't last long but the sea swell prevented us getting to the landing steps. The boatman wasn't taking any risks and NT don't allow any morning landings onto Inner Farne at this time of year so we went back to the harbour and got drenched by the crashing wave on the way back. We rejoined the boat after lunch for a calmer sea and successfully landed on Inner Farne for a wonderful afternoon with the puffins and other sea birds but I so rarely see puffins that they must get my limelight today. I took loads of photos, no idea which to pick so here's a selection.
